STOP! The information provided beyond this point is for future or past projects and have not been assigned
ROBOTICS TEE SHIRT LOGO
You must design a logo for the Robotics club. Follow the link and use the AI file I have Provided as a template. Since this is an AI file you can go right in and edit/draw as needed. The would like the image to be more robot-like.........The raider could be holding a gear instead of the shield. Maybe more BORG like.

NEW LOGO PROJECT
Instructions:
Read the following biography. Based on the imagery that you imagine, build a logo using the steps we have outlined in the previous lessons. Use photos as templates to begin and go through several of the developments to make a final ‘iconic’ (logo) Print a page with the entire process illustrated. Also submit and a separate final image at its maximum size to fit onto a letter-size sheet.
The biography of Leonard Pinth Garnell III
My name is Leonard Pinth Garnell III. I grew up I the rich farm country of Wisconsin about 30 miles west of the town of Upper Pringley. As a young man I was fascinated by flying creatures and the mechanisms that allowed them to stay aloft and change directions so easily. While attending college I met my wife Prunella and dropped out shortly after our relationship began. I felt I needed to prove myself as a husband and begin to earn money. Children and the drudgery of work pointed me in the direction of entrepreneurship. I knew that I would never be happy working for someone else and I felt that inventions were my way to the top of the mountain. I worked like a dog trying to come up with anything that I thought people needed. I invented a new sled which I named after my favorite dog ‘rosebud’. I constructed a front-end dampening device for a Ford Mustang which I called the ‘Johnson rod’. Although some of these inventions sold modestly, none brought me the recognition that I wanted. One day I was watching an airplane make a slow lazy turn at the end of a corn field while spaying poison for the yellow corn beetle worm fungus. I wondered why the plane couldn’t make a tighter more efficient turn. Then it hit me, think like a bug! A flying bug! A sewing needle was what my grandmother called the dragon fly. She used to tell the children that “if you fall asleep outside, the sewing needle would land on you and sew your eyes closed.” Then she would laugh and laugh as the children screamed and screamed. The dragonfly was able to turn and dive because it possessed a set of independent operational wings that counter balanced the forces generated by the main set of wings. That was the solution!

LOGO Rubric
Logo Rubric
This rubric follows the multi-development logo projects. Students use a photo as a beginning template then develop a ‘painted version’ or the object. This object is then redesigned for an impressionist view. The image is then redesigned several more times to simplify a one, two or three line logo image.
Picasso’s bull progression is an example as well as, the ‘how to build a logo’ found with this lesson
Student showed a logical progression toward the finished product. 4 – 5 frames were used in development and the progression was significant.
Exceeded Met mostly met did not meet
Student was on task and kept a working pace for the project
Exceeded Met mostly met did not meet
Student exhibited good craftsmanship
Exceeded Met mostly met did not meet
The student presented the final work with all the progressions intact and complete
Exceeded Met mostly met did not meet
The student used the logo on a product in a professionally done way
